Typhoon Tapah weakens, skies brighten
Good morning, what a stormy weekend we had. Typhoon Tapah, that brought heavy showers to the country, is currently passing some 140 kilometers south of Korea's easternmost islets of Dokdo and Ullengdo.

Heavy rain clouds that drenched Korea's eastern and southern regions have moved out from the peninsula. But those on the east coast and Dokdo and Ullengdo are being lashed by showers and strong winds.

Ten to 40 millimeters of rain are expected through the morning hours. The east coast, including Gangneung, could see lingering showers.

Temperature-wise, it's a chilly start to the day,... lows have dropped nearly 4 degrees in Seoul starting out at 15 degrees. It's also a cloudy way to start the workweek.

However, the skies will brighten up and most regions could have sunny skies by the afternoon with a big jump in temperatures in store. Highs will range from 23 to 25 degrees Celsius.

That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
