Typhoon Tapah approaches southern coast of Korean Peninsula, heavy rain expected

This year's 17th typhoon, Tapah, is heading northward and expected to make landfall on the Korean Peninsula.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, as of 9 AM Saturday,... the storm has strengthened into a medium-sized typhoon,... with a maximum wind speed of 126 kilometers per hour.
Tapah is expected to pass through the eastern coast of Jeju island on Sunday morning and reach peak strength on Sunday afternoon... as it makes its way through the city of Busan.
The typhoon is likely to bring as much as 600 millimeters of rain... and strong winds of up to 160 kilometers per hour to the southern regions tomorrow.
