Tea Garden workers at Sonari Borahi Tea Estate stage Proteste

The tea tribes labourers today gheraoed the Borahi Tea Estate head office demanding 20% bonus ahead of Durga Puja celebrations next month.
Reports also states that recently, the Government of Assam directed the tea companies in the state to provide 20% bonus to all tea garden workers across the state ahead of Durga Puja celebrations, however, Borahi Tea Estate authorities reportedly announced a bonus of 16% this year.
