S. Korea's top diplomat for Asian affairs to meet his new Japanese counterpart for first time

South Korea and Japan's top diplomats for Asian affairs will meet in Tokyo on Friday to discuss a possible meeting between the two countries' foreign ministers.
Kim Jung-han, director-general for Asian and Pacific Affairs will have talks with his counterpart Shigeki Takizaki for the first time since Takizaki took up his post earlier this month.
The pair are expected to discuss the possible meeting between Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and her new Japanese counterpart Toshimitsu Motegi at the UN General Assembly next week.
