'A ton of schnitzel' breaks world record in Bavarian town of Mengkofen

Guinness World Record of the biggest schnitzel in the world was successfully broken in Mengkofen, Bavaria, Germany with a 1208 kilogram (2663 pounds) weighing schnitzel. Previous records was broken in 2011 in the city of Frankfurt with a 550kg schnitzel. The 70 square meter schnitzel was reportedly made of 4 hundred chops, 4 thousand eggs and 250 kilograms (551 pounds) of bread crumbs while the frying process required 14 thousand liters of oil.
