Meet Nathan Outteridge

Sailing is in Nathan Outteridge’s blood, and he’s never far from the water, whether it be sailing, kite surfing or windsurfing. From the age of 4, Outteridge got the bug for the sport from his parents and went on to Olympic success, winning gold in the 49er class at the London 2012 Olympic Games and silver in Rio four years later. During the same time, he competed with Artemis Racing at the 34th and 35th America’s Cups and more recently alongside his sister, Haylee, winning the silver medal at the 2018 World Championships in the Nacra 17. He has won 19 world championship medals and mastered a number of classes, including the Moth, 49er and Nacra 17. Outteridge was part of the test team for the revolutionary new F50s, helping develop the class.
