Giant stingrays lurk in the sand at beach in the Canary Islands

A tourist on a popular beach in the Canary Islands showed the scary reality as several large stingrays were hidden in the sandy shallows.
Filmed on September 8 at Valle Hermoso, La Gomera, the filmer was able to show how many unaware swimmers were paddling while a number of stingrays hid under the sands.
An adventurous person even taps one ray on the fin, causing it to move over and swim off.
