Opposition of Motor Vehicle Act in BJP's house, know how important is new rule Opposition to the new Motor Vehicle Act has started from the BJP ruled state itself. The BJP government of Gujarat has made changes in the new Act of the Central Government. Gujarat government has reduced the amount of challan from 50 per cent to 90 per cent by making changes in the Motor Vehicle Amendment Act. At the same time, Congress-ruled Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, including BJP-ruled Maharashtra, are also considering changes in it. The governments of West Bengal and Rajasthan have refused to implement the new Motor Vehicle Act.


नए मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट का विरोध बीजेपी शासित प्रदेश से ही शुरू हो चुका है. गुजरात की बीजेपी सरकार ने केंद्र सरकार के नए एक्ट में बदलाव किए हैं. गुजरात सरकार ने मोटर व्हीकल संशोधन अधिनियम में बदलाव करते हुए चलान की राशी 50 फीसदी से लेकर 90 फीसदी तक कम कर दी है. वहीं बीजेपी शासित महाराष्ट्र समेत कांग्रेस शासित मध्यप्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ भी इसमे बदलाव के लेकर विचार कर रहे हैं. पश्चिम बंगाल और राजस्थान की सरकारों ने तो नए मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट को लागू करने से मना ही कर दिया है.
