The powerful Typhoon Lingling that swept across the Korean Peninsula over the weekend,... has left at least five people dead and 460 houses damaged or destroyed in North Korea.
That's according to Pyeongyang's Korean Central Television, which reported Sunday that three people have been injured and are being treated at a hospital.
It also said that 458 square kilometers of farmland has been flooded.
In a rare move,... the regime's state-run media covered the typhoon in breaking news,... while its leader Kim Jong-un convened an emergency meeting over the inbound typhoon on Friday.
