Howard Schultz Drops Out
of Presidential Race.
The former Starbucks CEO has decided to
end his run as an independent candidate.
Schultz announced in January that he was considering running after leaving Starbucks in 2018.
His campaign was halted in June following a
back injury that required three rounds of surgery.
His withdrawal will put many
Democrats at ease, with many
worrying a third-party interference
would lead to Trump’s re-election. .
