Even as Rajasthan is yet to implement the amended Motor Vehicles Act, the state government is mulling over providing a free helmet with each challan of Rs 1,000 to those caught for traffic violations. The Rajasthan government said the proposal will be a relief for those who have to pay heavy fines under the amended act.

राजस्थान में केंद्र सरकार के नए मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट को लागू करने को लेकर माथापच्ची जारी है. इस बीच अब राज्य सरकार ऐसी योजना लेकर आ रही है कि भारी-भरकम जुर्माना देने वालों को ज्यादा तकलीफ ना हो. राजस्थान के परिवहन मंत्री ने अनोखा प्रस्ताव रखा है. उनका कहना है कि बिना हेलमेट गाड़ी चलाने वालों को पकड़ने पर जब 1000 रू का चालान होने पर इस राशि के बदले फ्री में आईएसआई मार्क वाला हेलमेट दिया जाए.
