सेना प्रमुख जनरल रावत ने बताया कि कश्मीर से आर्टिकल 370 हटाने के लिए भारत सरकार ने 5 अगस्त की तारीख क्यों चुनी थी । जम्मू-कश्मीर से आर्टिकल 370 को हटाए जाने के करीब एक महीने बाद सेना प्रमुख जनरल बिपिन रावत ने सरकार द्वारा उठाये गए इस कदम के लिए टाइमिंग का समर्थन किया। सेना प्रमुख बिपिन रावत ने कहा कि कश्मीर के लोगों के लिए हिंसा घातक हानिकारक है।
