COL: Better corporate earnings seen next year

The volatility in the Philippine stock market is expected to continue in the second half, as economic growth could be "difficult" in the second quarter and better corporate earnings are seen next year. COL Financial group VP and research head April Lee Tan said corporate earnings growth will be back to double-digit levels in 2015, as high demand for loans this year should lead to strong bank earnings next year.
