A state of calamity was declared in Maguindanao due to massive flooding caused by continuous rains. Thirteen towns in the province have been submerged in floods, affecting about 10,000 families affected. Among the affected towns are Mamasapano, Rajah Buayan, Sultan sa Barongis, Northern Kabuntalan, Mother Kabuntalan, Datu Abdullah Sangki, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Ampatuan, Datu Salibo, Datu Piang, Datu Montawal and Pagalungan. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 23 June 2014
