MANILA, Philippines – Returning Commissioner Andy Jao explained his plans to replace some referees for the 77th UAAP basketball season that will begin on July 12. Jao said he will not be employing referees from the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, the country’s governing body for basketball, explaining that he did not like the way they called the games.
