MANILA – A bus caught fire along Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) on Monday morning. Witnesses said a unit of Stow Away Bus Liner caught fire right after its tire burst at a portion of CAVITEX in Las Piñas City at around 7 a.m. No one was injured in the incident, but bus passengers panicked after smoke entered the bus. The incident snarled traffic along CAVITEX's northbound lane. The bus was brought to the impounding area at around 10 a.m. Bus driver Johnny Muñez said the bus came from Naic, Cavite and was headed for Southwest Integrated Transport Terminal. – report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
