MANILA (UPDATE) - Fire and multiple explosions hit the armory of the Army Support Headquarters in Fort Bonifacio Wednesday morning, injuring at least five soldiers. DZMM correspondent Dennis Datu said he had just reported on the fire when a huge explosion hit the Army Support Command and a "rain of bullets" and debris started to fall, causing people to scramble to safety. "Ang bala umulan, napadapa kami lahat. Sobra lakas ng pagsabog, dumilim," he said, adding that he was at least 100 meters away from the armory. He said many soldiers were running to save other soldiers in the area. Authorities have ordered civilians to evacuate the area. The fire was already under control when the explosion occurred. The report said the Army Support Headquarters has already collapsed. An ANC report earlier said Army officials suspect extreme heat may have set off some of the ammunition in the building, causing the fire.
