Metro Manila 2nd riskiest area in the world for floods: LLDA

The city of Metro Manila is considered the second riskiest area in the world for flooding, next only to Tokyo. That's according to a study cited by the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA). LLDA general manger Nereus Acosta said the ecological degradation of Laguna lake contributes to the risk of flooding. ANC News Now, May 8, 2014
