MANILA - The long wait is over as Maya, the lead character of the hit ABS-CBN daytime series "Be Careful with My Heart," finally gives birth to twins. The nanny-turned-flight attendant who married her former boss, Richard "Sir Chief" Lim, gave birth via Cesarean section in the series' episode aired on Labor Day (May 1). "Sweetheart, the twins, they're here," Sir Chief told his wife. Maya is portrayed by Jodi Sta. Maria, while Richard Yap plays the role of Sir Chief in the series. Sir Chief's children -- Luke (Jerome Ponce), Nikki (Janella Salvador) and Abby (Mutya Orquia) -- and other relatives were present as they welcomed the twins. The arrival of the twins ended the long wait of fans of "Be Careful with My Heart," which has become the subject of an Internet meme in the past weeks.
