On September 5, Teachers' Day is celebrated on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was the first Vice President and the second President of India. Radhakrishnan was a great philosopher and teacher. That's why? The Government of India honors the best performing teachers on September 5. It would not be wrong to say that teacher is more important than a birth donor.

डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन के जन्म दिवस पर उनकी याद में पांच सितंबर को शिक्षक दिवस मनाया जाता है। वो एक महान शिक्षक के साथ आजाद भारत के पहले उप-राष्ट्रपति और दूसरे राष्ट्रपति थे। राधाकृष्णन एक महान दार्शनिक और शिक्षक थे। यही कारण है कि भारत सरकार शिक्षा में बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करने वाले शिक्षकों को पांच सितंबर को सम्मान देती है। ये कहना गलत नहीं होगा कि जन्म दाता से बढ़कर महत्व शिक्षक का होता है। ज्ञान ही इंसान को जीने योग्य जीवन की सीख देता है।
