Aired (December 16, 2017): 'I-Witness' features one of the greatest float festivals in Japan—the Chichibu Night Festival in Chichibu City, Saitama. Similar to the Philippines' “Traslacion,” the Chichibu Night Festival is a two-day celebration which features six gigantic floats or 'yatai,' in commemoration of a Shinto Shrine aged for more than 2,000 years. In this documentary, Jay Taruc flies to Japan to witness this celebration where he also met a Filipina who married a Japanese national, who, has committed his life to being a member of his hometown's float, the Motomachi Yatai.
