MANILA – American film and stage actor Aaron Eckhart gave his all-out support for Manny Pacquiao as he fought Timothy Bradley Jr. at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday. In an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Dyan Castillejo after the boxing match, Eckhart said he is very happy about the Filipino boxer’s performance. “It was a great fight. It was wonderful. Everything that Freddie (Roach) and Manny trained in the gym, I saw out there. Manny was just in command. It was a great fight. I loved it. I'm so happy,” he said. Eckhart rose to fame after he was cast in the 2000 movie “Erin Brockovich” and in the 2006 film “Thank You for Smoking,” which earned him a nomination from the Golden Globe. Aside from these movies, Eckhart was also part of the Batman film “The Dark Knight” as the villain Two-Face. During the rematch on Sunday, Pacquiao outpointed Bradley over the course of 12 rounds to avenge a controversial loss and hand the American his first-ever career defeat. Pacquiao, the former pound-for-pound king of boxing and eight-division world champion, made sure that there would be no doubts this time as he won a clear decision, 116-112, 116-112, and 118-110, to regain the World Boxing Organization welterweight title that he lost to the American in June 2012.
