MANILA -- Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao again dismissed claims that he owes over P2.7 billion in back taxes, following a reminder from Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) chief Kim Henares to settle his debt. "Sa constitution natin, walang double taxation. If you've been taxed in America, credited na 'yan sa Pilipinas. So hindi ka na magbabayad," he explained during a press conference held in General Santos City shortly after his arrival on Friday. He did, however, mention that he has yet to produce an official copy of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) documents to present to Henares, but reiterated that he paid the right amount. "Peace be with you all," he quipped.
