MANILA – A man scaled a billboard in Cubao, Quezon before midnight Wednesday. The man, identified as Dan Alvarez, reached the top of the billboard installed at the Cubao station of the Metro Rail Transit system. Alvarez stayed atop the structure - which was 50 feet off the ground - for an hour until he was convinced by PO3 Alain Sigua to come down. Alvarez, a 32-year-old electrician, said he climbed up the billboard because of his problems in life. Supt. Ramon Pranada, Cubao Police station commander, said Alvarez lamented that his family is not appreciating his efforts.
