What was Iza's role in Karylle-Vice reconciliation

MANILA -- Actress Iza Calzado is elated that her good friend Karylle has reconciled with the singer's "It's Showtime" co-host Vice Ganda. In a chance interview with ABS-CBNNews.com on Thursday afternoon, Calzado said she's happy that everything has been settled just before Karylle's wedding with Sponge Cola vocalist Yael Yuzon next month. "Siyempre bilang kaibigan ni Karylle masaya kami na wala na siyang inaalala na mayroong hindi okay na relationship sa buhay niya na mahalagang tao din sa kanya. So tuwang tuwa ako nung nakita ko, kasi nakita ko lang siya sa ABS-CBNNews.com sa Facebook," Calzado said. [EMBED VIDEO] Calzado revealed that she told Karylle to be strong and even advised her to write a letter to the comedian. "Alam ko din sa umpisa pa lang nung sinasabi sa akin 'yan ni Karylle, sabi ko, 'K, it's like in every relationship nagkakatampuhan lang kayo. It's just a miscommunication na medyo malaki.' "So talagang sinasabihan ko siya padalhan mo ng sulat,. So I'm just happy it's settled," Calzado said. In a previous interview, Ganda admitted that he received an apology from Karylle. The two "It's Showtime" hosts shared an emotional moment on the noontime program Tuesday following their publicized rift over an alleged comment made by Yuzon. Currently, Calzado is happy co-hosting "It's Showtime" with Karylle, while Vice Ganda is out of the country for series of shows.
