The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) condemns the use of child soldiers by the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF). Col. Dickson Hermoso, spokesman of the Army's 6th Infantry Division, said at least 3 child rebel soldiers were killed in the clashes in Maguindanao. The child soldiers are between the ages of 15 to 16 years old. The clashes began on Monday when the AFP served arrest warrants against some members of the BIFF for atrocities committed in the south.
