After showbiz, Jodi wants to help cancer patients

"Be Careful with My Heart" star Jodi Sta. Maria said she still wants to pursue a career in medicine. "Kapag dumating 'yung panahon na hindi na ako nagtatrabaho, pwede natin 'yon [gawin]. Pero as of now, ang showbiz ang aking bread and butter," she said. Sta. Maria said that if given the chance, she wants to study oncology. "'Yung gusto kong kunin 'yung oncology because my mom is a cancer patient. I want to help 'yung ibang tao," she said. Umagang Kay Ganda, January 30, 2014
