Matteo happy about current status with Sarah G

MANILA -- Actor Matteo Guidicelli continued to be evasive when asked about his relationship with singer-actress Sarah Geronimo on Thursday amid reports that they are already a couple. Early this week, the entertainment magazine Yes! quoted an unnamed source who confirmed that the two celebrities, who have been romantically linked since last year, are indeed an item. But despite the constant speculation, Guidicelli has remained mum about the subject. "I have to respect her family and my family. There's going to be a right time for that. There will come a time that I would really answer that," Guidicelli said at a press conference for "The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition: Doubles," which will air on ABS-CBN starting February 3. "Wala kaming sinabi na 'yes or no.' Basta we just would like to keep it to ourselves po for the meantime," he stressed. However, the "Galema" actor did say he is happy with whatever it is he has with Geronimo. "Basta po masaya naman ang lahat," he said. When told that Geronimo's mother is reportedly in favor of him, he replied: "Salamat naman pero I have to respect her family." In the interview, Guidicelli was also asked what kind of workout he would recommend to Geronimo. "She's not an athlete so something basic first and something she really enjoys," said Guidicelli, who competes in triathlons. He also said he hasn't had the opportunity to exercise with Geronimo. "Siyempre busy siya, sana one day," he said.
