MANILA – The second season of ABS-CBN's "The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition" is set to premiere on February 3. This was announced by Bianca Gonzalez on the morning program “Umagang Kay Ganda” on Monday which featured the reality show's trainers Jim Saret and Toni Dimaguila. Gonzalez said the show will be part of ABS-CBN’s primetime block. Unlike its first season, the reality show will now feature 14 different contestants and will be titled “Pinoy’s Biggest Loser Doubles Edition.” According to Saret, “Biggest Loser” is an inspiring show for all Filipinos because it highlights the determination of each contestant to become healthy. “Ang pinakaimportante sa lahat is the motivation. How motivated are you? Ang exercise talaga, madali iyan kung gusto mo talaga siya gawin. Pero kung wala kang motivation, kahit magaling coach mo, kahit maganda ang programa mo, napakaganda ng diet mo, wala rin,” he said. Ahead of the show’s premiere, Saret and Dimaguila demonstrated on “UKG” some routines that could be helpful to anyone who wants to stay fit. Hosting the show will be Iza Calzado, Matteo Guidicelli and Robi Domingo. It was originally hosted by Sharon Cuneta and Derek Ramsay, both of whom have left ABS-CBN for the No. 3 network TV5.
