MANILA – A man was arrested in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan after allegedly breaking into a house in a subdivision. House owner Lorenzo Policarpio said the suspect, Jeffrey Velasco, barged into their house in his underwear and armed with a gun. Policarpio said Velasco pointed a gun at him and his family and took off with some of their valuables worth about P800,000. Velasco, already clothed, fled the scene on board a tricycle. The tricycle driver, however, sensed that Velasco was a criminal so he decided to prolong their trip to allow the police to arrest the suspect. Velasco, who was beaten up by some angry bystanders, said he was assisted by a cohort he identified as "Allan." The said cohort, however, was not spotted in the subdivision. – report from Jacque Manabat, ABS-CBN News
