MANILA - Actress KC Concepcion is not expecting to bring home the Best Actress award in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). The actress said she is happy with getting positive feedback from her performance in the film "Boy Golden," where she stars alongside ER Ejercito. "Ayaw ko pong masyadong mag-expect, pero thank you, thank you po talaga. Napakalaking bagay, parang feeling ko nomination na po 'yung comment na yon," she said. Concepcion shared that she made an effort to prepare for the film since it is her first time to do action scenes. "Nag-training po ako ng mixed martial arts especially po yung tinatawag na kali for the movie po. Pero inumpisahan po 'yan ni Ate Judai during 'Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala,'" she said, referring to her defunct soap. Aside from action scenes, Concepcion also agreed to do kissing scenes with Ejercito. "Ang ganda po ng treatment ni direk Chito po talaga. Wala po kaming love scene, kissing scenes po mayroon," she said. The actress, who won best supporting actress from Star Awards this year, said she is excited for "Boy Golden" and hopes that her fans will support her newest movie project.
