Suspected robber shot dead in QC

MANILA – A suspected robber was shot dead in Barangay Mariana, Quezon City on Wednesday evening. The slain suspect was on board a motorcycle with a cohort when they allegedly attempted to rob a woman along Gilmore Street. Incidentally, a policeman was in the area when the robbery occurred, resulting in an exchange of fires. One of the suspects was shot in the chest, causing his immediate death. His cohort, reportedly shot in the leg, was able to escape. PO3 Jamie de Jesus of the Quezon City Police District – Crime Investigation and Detection Unit said the suspects previously attempted to rob a woman earlier that day. – report from Jacque Manabat, ABS-CBN News
