MANILA - Social Welfare Secretary Dinky Soliman on Thursday said the government is slowly moving into the next stage of relief efforts in typhoon-hit areas, which is the provision of seedlings, fishing nets and roofs to the typhoon survivors. Soliman said that while the distribution of relief goods is still ongoing, the government is also looking at rebuilding homes and giving livelihoods to people in typhoon-hit areas. "Nasa stage na tayo na humihingi na ng seeds, fishing nets, bubong..." she told radio dzMM. She said Mayor Alfred Romualdez has already taken over the distribution of relief goods in Tacloban. She said the Department of Social Welfare and Development brings the food packs to city hall and local officials distribute the goods. RADIO DZMM, November 21, 2013
