Gov't must hammer out regional economic plan for Visayas
  • 5 years ago
Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan says the government must hammer out a regional economic blueprint for Visayas to help it get back on its feet and sustain recovery. Balisacan says the regional plan should be integrated into the annual national budget. While the region accounts for just 22% of the country's total income, Balisacan says the drag could spill over to neighboring provinces. Mornings@ANC, November 20, 2013
