DTI- Price freeze takes effect in areas under state of calamity

A price freeze has been raised in areas declared under a state of calamity in the wake of typhoon “Yolanda.” Department of Trade and Industry Director Vic Dimagiba said the price freeze automatically took effect over the weekend when local governments declared a state of calamity in their provinces. Trade and Industry Sec. Gregory Domingo, meanwhile, said a list of the goods and its respective prices will be issued as early as Tuesday. -- Mornings@ANC, November 11, 2013
