Guingona to Napoles: We'll give you a lawyer

MANILA - The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee has denied the request of businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles to postpone the November 7 hearing on the pork barrel scam. In her request, Napoles said she will need to get a new lawyer after her counsel, Lorna Kapunan, withdrew from the case. Senate Blue Ribbon Committee chairman Teofisto Guingona III, however, said the committee can provide Napoles a lawyer from the Public Attorney's Office. The hearing is set this Thursday, November 7.
