Over 100 ship passengers stranded in Catanduanes

MANILA -- Over 100 passengers were stranded in Catanduanes on Thursday after sea vessels cancelled trips due to tropical storm "Santi." Catanduanes is under public storm warning signal number 1. According to Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) spokesperson Commander Armand Balilo, the stranded passengers were from the ports of Catanduanes and Tabaco. As of 7 a.m., a total of 123 passengers were stranded. Meanwhile, the PCG advised fishermen not to set sail to prevent any untoward incident.
