New York Knicks all-star Carmelo Anthony insists he's in love with the Big Apple and he isn't going anywhere. “Melo” was addressing questions on his impending free agency next year when he, 4-time MVP LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and a list of other superstars could transfer to new teams. Melo said he's not leaving New York because he relishes the pressure and challenges that come with playing with the Knicks. The 29-year-old Anthony will make $21.6 million this upcoming season. After that, he could get $96 million over four years if he signs with other teams or $129 million over five years if he stays in New York. – ANC Dateline Philippines, September 13, 2013
