Peping: PH's SEA Games delegation not yet final

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Olympic Committee revealed that the country’s delegation for this year’s Southeast Asian Games is not yet final. In an interview on ANC’s Hardball, POC President Peping Cojuangco says some national sports association (NSAs) still have a window of opportunity to compete. But he stressed that these NSAs have to prove that they can win medals in the upcoming tournament in Myanmar. Sports officials have earlier expressed inclination towards sending a small contingent as there are new events that are supposedly not favorable to Filipino athletes. -- Mornings @ ANC, August 1, 2013
