Bread truck fails to clear telephone lines and blocks traffic in Indonesia

The amusing moment is captured when a pole holding phone lines was knocked down on August 20 after a bread truck snagged the line in West Sumatra, Indonesia.

In footage filmed in Bukittinggi city, shows truck stopped and blocking the narrow road after roof hit telephone line.

The truck driver said he didn't expect truck would hit the cable, as the last week still driving this truck on the same road. Telephone line hanging down lower as the buffer allegedly unable to withstand the cable load.

As a result, telephone poles tilted, cable collapsed to the residents roofs, one of the cables on the other side fell to the road and dragged off by the passing public transportation.

Ujang, one of the residents whose roof was hit by a cable said, they were in the house shocked by the bang on the roof.

"My family and I were in the house, shocked by bang. Then I go out and find cable falling to the roof, the cable was stuck in this truck," Ujang said.

The truck was eventually freed from the cable that fell on it.

The large cable blocked the road making motorcyclists choose to turn around to avoid the lane. Other motorcyclists duck underneath it.

No one was hurt in the incident, and traffic is no longer being impacted.

PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) repairs to the lines throughout the night.
