A woman at the other side of the dance floor, seems interested to dance with me, putting away her sigaret, but when I make cabeceo she starts smoking again.
Yes, Belgrade doesn't seem to be the only city where tangueros smoke inside :-)
Later I try again but she seems to feel uncomfortable with my look, so I let it go.
At the end when I sit closer I look at her again but she dives head down under the table, seemingly packing her stuff, it seems clear that she doesn't want to have anything to do with me.
But then suddenly her head pops up, asking me if I might want to dance with her…!?
A bit confused I accept, overwhelmed by thoughts like why so many women are making such a fuss over men verbally inviting, without cabeceo, and this lady doing it herself while previously ignoring me.
Was verbally inviting me herself, what she was hoping for?
It was an exiting dance, as well as all the other dances that night.
But that's what I expect, dancing in exotic places like Jordan. ;-)
