Traffic police rushed to save a street dog after he was found stuck under a car on a busy road in northern Thailand.

The dog had been trying to cross the road in Chiang Mai last month when he narrowly avoided being ran over - but was trapped under the vehicle.

Police helped the dog to safety and he was unhurt after the scrape on July 27.
