A U.S.-based think tank says recent satellite images show one of the two uranium enrichment plants in North Korea isn't showing any sign of new activity.
According to the Center for Strategic and International Studies on Wednesday,... the Pakchon plant was highly active until the mid-1990s,... but has since gone dark,... and is currently being maintained with no major changes or obvious activities.
However, experts say that, because no international inspections have been conducted on the site for more than 25 years,... a thorough check would be necessary for a denuclearization agreement to be achieved between the North and the U.S.
