Indian fast bowler S Sreesanth got a huge relief from BCCI after his life ban was reduced to 7 years on Tuesday 20th august. He will now be eligible to play all forms of cricket from next year. Sreesanth was found guilty of spot fixing in IPL 2013 while playing for Rajasthan Royals. Sreesanth put up his views in front of media after his ban was reduced. He talked about his plan in the future. Sreesanth made his international debut against Sri Lanka in year 2015 in an ODI match. He made his test debut next year against England and made T20 debut in the same year. He was part of India’s world cup winning team in T20 World cup 2007.

भारत के तेज गेंदबाज एस श्रीसंथ को मंगलवार 20 अगस्त को बीसीसीआई की तरफ से एक बड़ी राहत मिली। श्रीसंथ पर लगा आजीवन बैन घटाकर अब 7 साल कर दिया गया है। ऐसे में अगले साल 13 सितम्बर से उनका ये बैन खत्म हो जाएगा। गौरतलब है की साल 2013 के आईपीएल स्पॉट फिक्सिंग मामले में एस श्रीसंथ दोषी पाए गए थे, जिसके बाद बीसीसीआई ने उनपर कारवाई करते हुए उनपर प्रतिबन्ध लगा दिया था। हालांकि अब जाकर श्रीसंथ को इस मामले में कुछ हद तक राहत मिली है। श्रीसंथ ने बैन कम होने का बाद मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए अपने आगे का प्लान बताया। श्रीसंथ ने साल 2015 में श्रीलंका के खिलाफ वनडे मैच के साथ अपने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय करियर की शुरूआत की थी। उन्होंने अगले साल मार्च में इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ अपना टेस्ट डेब्यू किया, और इसी साल दिसम्बर में टी-20 डेब्यू भी किया। वो टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप 2007 में भारत की विजेता टीम का हिस्सा रहे थे।
