Chandrayaan 2 Successfully Enters Moon's Orbit . Chandrayaan 2 has reached its target after nearly 30 days of space travel. ISRO scientists entered Chandrayaan-2 into Moon's orbit LBN # 1 between 8.30 am and 9.30 am. Now Chandrayaan-2 will rotate in an elliptical orbit with an distance of 118 km from the Epogee Moon and 18078 km from the Perigee Moon for the next 24 hours. During this time, the speed of Chandrayaan was reduced from 10.98 km per second to about 1.98 km per second.

चंद्रयान 2 लगभग 30 दिनों की अंतरिक्ष यात्रा के बाद अपने लक्ष्य के करीब पंहुच गया है. इसरो वैज्ञानिकों ने सुबह 8.30 से 9.30 बजे के बीच चंद्रयान-2 को चांद की कक्षा LBN#1 में प्रवेश कराया. अब चंद्रयान-2, 118 किमी की एपोजी चांद से कम दूरी और 18078 किमी की पेरीजी चांद से ज्यादा दूरी वाली अंडाकार कक्षा में अगले 24 घंटे तक चक्कर लगाएगा. इस दौरान चंद्रयान की गति को 10.98 किमी प्रति सेकंड से घटाकर करीब 1.98 किमी प्रति सेकंड किया गया.
