Village Rockstars is not just about the characters in the film but it's also about the cinematic triumph of it's maker, Rima Das. She has almost single handedly made the film. In her one-person-crew she has played the multiple roles of director, producer, cinematographer and the editor. The film has deservedly bagged the awards in best film, best editing, best child actor and best location sound category.
