In a shocking incident toll plaza employees attacked by angry locals after allegedly being made to wait despite the car having a toll-free tag.
The incident that took place at the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway was caught on camera.
The attacker called a group of locals post the altercation and barged into the plaza to hit the staff and vandalise the toll booth. A case has been registered with the police and the investigation is underway.
Months ago similar crime scene occurred when a highway toll collector was thrashed by villagers from Kherki Daula, Gurugram. The assault happened when the men in the SUV refused to pay the toll tax and claimed exemption instead.
