William Dalrymple is the co-founder of the Jaipur Literature Festival. He is also a man of (many, many) words – little surprise – with a Bengali great-great-great grandmother, a connection that he adores.
"I know I'll always be a foreigner writing in India," Dalrymple confesses, "but it doesn't bother me" – because, as he reiterates, "if I had nine lives, I'd live them all in India!"
