1 Dead, 3 Injured After Massive Fire in Firecracker Shop in Odisha

One person was killed and three others were injured after a fire broke out in a market in Odisha’s Rourkela on Wednesday, NDTV reported. According to the report, the fire started at a firecrackers shop and spread. The police said that the fire is likey to have started due to a short-circuit in the shop but gradually spread. The shop, police said, had stocked up a huge quantity of firecrackers due to Diwali.
While the fire has been doused now, three people were injured and have been taken to the hospital. The exact cause of fire will only be ascertained after an investigation is done, they added.
