Obama honors Ravens as Super Bowl champs

MANILA, Philippines – President Barack Obama welcomed the Super Bowl champions Baltimore Ravens to the White House in a ceremony on the south lawn. The Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers on February 3 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Coach John Harbaugh presented Obama with a Ravens jersey, and told the crowd the team expected to return to the White House in 2014. Obama praised the team and singled out a few for special mention, including quarterback Joe Flacco, who was named Super Bowl MVP. -- Mornings @ ANC, June 6, 2013
